”My husband and I had the honour of being the first ever guests at Drop In! As soon as we arrived, we felt like we were coming home. From the kind staff, beautiful location and meticulously decorated bungalows, we had a perfect stay.

Solli and her team went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. The bungalows themselves were extremely cozy and spotlessly clean and the outdoor shower (especially at night) is fantastic.

The location was great – tucked away from the town center but close enough that you can hop on a motorbike and be there within minutes.

Breakfast is delicious, and the options to add extras to your meal is a bonus. We also ate lunch and dinner at the cafe – my husband recommends trying the Smoked Salmon baguette.

Solli helped us arrange a motorbike rental for the week, as well as surf lessons with Demar (also recommended!)

We just returned home from a 9 mth trip around the world and Drop In is easily one of the nicest places we’ve stayed throughout our travels. We can’t wait to go back again!!”

”The Drop in is a true tresure 7min away on the Scooter from Kuta. 5-15min away to the breathtaking beaches where you can swim or take the boat out to the waves. We booked 3 surf sessions with a guide. It was the first time for me to surf and I always felt super safe and well looked after.
The bungalow we stayed in was simpel, clean, beautiful and includet everything you need. The main Area including the pool is gorgeous, comfi and relaxing. I booked 2massages. The first one was the best I ever had and the second one was a different girl,still good though. The Host’s Solli, Mirjam and Ing were super easy going, helpful and gave you the privacy if you needed. The fresh cakes at the Cafe are a real treat. I was super sad to leave after 6 days but I think it wasn’t the last time there. Can only recommend it to everyone that is looking for a relaxed athmosphere and a unique surf experience!”

We had special days there!

A perfect spot to relax, but also very close to amazing beaches, where you can have an unforgettable surf or just chill out! Nice sunset places are really close.

Everyone is so friendly there and the bungalows are really beautiful, tastefully furnished and so clean. The Team tidies up and cleans it every day! AND….after a long time in Indonesia – a perfect western (especially german) breakfast with home-made bread!

Definitely we will come back!!!”

”I met my family down in Kuta having not seen them in a while. They had found Drop In Bungalows via the internet, so I decided to run with their choice. It’s a lovely little place, with beautiful bungalows and friendly staff. Solli was very helpful and accommodating, offering us friendly advice and recommending the best places to check-out in the local area. The cakes they make at Drop-in are meant to be amazing – sadly I couldn’t partake as I’m allergic to Gluten, but apparently they’re a big hit with the surfers. I’ve been living in Indonesia on and off for 5 years, so have a good idea of standards of accommodation and service on Lombok. Drop In is definitely up there, and I’m sure I’ll come back in the future. Thanks Solli & all the staff for an excellent stay!”

”Relaxing place, good food, great atmosphere, very clean, lovely host! Stayed for a couple of days in January mainly to surf in the spots on Lomboks south side and explore the southern beaches. Very recommendable”

”We spent 4 days at the Drop In Café and Bungalows and loved every minute of it. The spotless and tastefully designed bungalows around the small garden really stand out, even with the many pretty places that seem to pop up every day around Kuta. Also it’s a cakelover’s dream come true to live inside the best Café in town, of course, and the short 10 minutes scooter-drive from “downtown” Kuta to Drop In seems to take you miles away from any noise or stress you might feel aroubd the touristyer streets. The German and Swiss owners as well as the local staff are all friendly and extremely helpful when it comes to finding your ways around Lombok, meeting the best surfing teachers, taking walk in Yoga classes in the neighbourhood or booking an Indonesian cooking class. In high season it’s absolutely necessary to book in advance. Go there! We will be back asap.”

”If you enter the gates to Drop In it’s like arriving in a haven. The bungalows are unique, clean and lovely decorated, so we were sad to leave the place after two nights. The team is very helpful and nice, the cafe prepares absolutly delicious food, so breakfast was very good. If you rent a motorbike you’re fast at beautiful beaches. The prices are a bit higher than in other places, but it’s really worth it. We enjoyed our stay!!”

”We stayed in one of the bungalows for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The bungalows are very comfortable with all you need – outside bathroom, great to shower under the stars, airconditioning, small patio with hammock. Breakfast was fantastic each morning, made with love and dedication. They have a number of scooters available to rent which was very convenient. Short scooter rides to Kuta and the nice beaches around – great location.”
